Review/Description: Next to Adam Müller-Gutenbrunn’s 1913 work, this is probably one of the first books of historical fiction written about the Donauschwaben and their migration down the Danube to pioneer new lands. The author uses her own family history to tell the story of the Donauschwaben. At only 82 pages, it is a very good primer for someone who does not wish to invest a lot of time, but still wishes to know the story .
